Common questions
Where are my lists stored?
Simple Checklist currently stores checklist content locally on your device. There is no required Lew Labs account or cloud sync in the current release.
Can I use the app offline?
Yes. Core list creation, editing, completion, reset and local widget data are designed to work without an internet connection. Advertising and device speech-recognition services may require connectivity depending on your device and settings.
How do I add a widget?
Use the widget button inside Simple Checklist or long-press your Android home screen, choose Widgets, then find Simple Checklist.
How do I share a list into Simple Checklist?
From an Android app that supports text sharing, choose Share and select Simple Checklist. You can create a new checklist or add the shared items to an existing list.
How do I delete my checklist data?
Delete lists inside the app. Uninstalling Simple Checklist also removes its locally stored app data from the device, subject to Android backup/restore settings.
